We provided a full description of the TummyCare Max® ingredients. It’s important to know what you’re giving your baby.
We realize that because of your babies have sensitive tummies that you are extremely cautious of what you’re giving your child. So are we! That’s why we went to great lengths, time and research to find the perfect ingredients to use in our products, TummyCare Max® and BellyBuffers®. We did all the worrying so you don’t have to.
Please read through the descriptions below and if you still have questions or concerns please contact us and we will answer them immediately to put your mind at ease.

Sodium Bicarbonate USP, Micronized Calcium Carbonate USP, Micronized Magnesium Hydroxide USP: These are all part of our perfect combination of buffers that minimize gas and maximize acid neutralization. They work hard as the first step in making your babies belly better! They are all household names and all are very safe.
Sugar: We use an non-GMO sugar in a fine 80 mesh consistency. What does that mean? 80 mesh is an industry term used to describe the mesh used to grate the sugar to a fine powder almost the consistency of powdered sugar so it will dissolve in water quickly. It does cost a little bit more for us to use a non-GMO grade sugar but we wanted to provide a higher quality product. I know that Non-GMO is an important part of our lives and it is an important part of your babies lives as well.
Non-Dairy Creamer: We went through extensive research and expense to find a creamer that doesn't contain the following ingredients listed. Traditional Non-Dairy creamers contain protein and those proteins come from caseinate. That is why you have experienced issues or your baby has had reactions with casein ate containing formula (or when you were excluding dairy but getting caseinate from so-called “non-dairy creamer”. Because caseinate is a protein and is still considered a dairy derivative and their can be cross-allergenicity to casein. Just say NO to caseinate. We did!
The creamer we use has:
-no casein
-no caseinate
-no whey
-no whey or casein isolate.
-no hydrogenated fats
-no soy
-no dairy or dairy derivative or dairy protein
It is:
-100% Vegan
-100% Gluten Free
-Sunflower based
-No protein
-No protein isolate
-No hydrogenated fats
-Contains Sunflower Lecithin
-Our non-dairy creamer contains modified food starch from potatoes, sunflower oil, calcium phosphate.
The Non-Dairy creamer we use in TummyCare Max® is not a traditional creamer. We have gone through these concerns before and addressed them by using this particular product. We would NEVER use anything remotely similar to a traditional creamer (protein-based or protein derived).
Most non-dairy creamers contain caseinate in it and we consider that to be dairy (even though the food industry would have you believe caseinate does not lead to cross allergenicity with casein - we simply don’t want nor would we add it to our products).
Since the beginning of TummyCare Max’s® conception there has never been any protein source of any type contained in the formula. These more advanced and “true” Non-Dairy creamers have been around since the mid to late 1990’s.
In addition the TummyCare Max® ingredients don’t rely on protein or protein isolate or protein fraction or protein anything. Hemp, almond, cashew, flax etc. are all proteins. None of these items or derivatives of them are contained in our products.
TummyCare Max’s® non-dairy creamer is a true non-dairy and a non-protein creamer.
Xanthan Gum: Our Xanthan Gum is a more natural version of the standard Xanthan used in common products. Again, we did extensive research and tested many versions for taste and consistency and a product that would provide the safety needed to give babies our TummyCare Max® without any harmful side effects, specifically gas and reaction to corn protein derivatives.
The Xanthan we use is:
- Soy based
- Ultra purified
- Non GMO
- NO CORN
Soy Allergy Concerns with Xanthan. Testing positive to soy is due to soy protein, there is no soy protein in Xanthan gum made from soy sugars. Xanthan gum is made by bacteria (Xanthomonas campestris) that eat sugar from soy (or other sources - but ours is from soy sugar). The bacteria makes the polysaccharide (xanthan gum) through fermentation. The polysaccharide is precipitated from a growth medium with isopropyl alcohol, dried, and ground into a fine powder. Polysaccharide is a carbohydrate whose molecules consist of a number of sugar molecules bonded together - it contains no protein at all since it is secreted by the bacteria as a polysaccharide and then removed through dissolution of the polysaccharide in alcohol and then dried.
In addition we use 1/50th of the amount of Xanthan gum typically used because we elected to go with our special creamer described above to maintain the product (TummyCare Max) as a suspension. Gas from thickeners such as xanthan gum, guar gum etc. is due to the amount of thickener used and the corn base.
We have used this formula for many years and never had anyone with issues of gas.
Natural Flavors:
We worked with a flavor specialist to create an amazing combination of
flavors that have been around for over 35 years. They are the secret
that give TummyCare Max that Ice Cream flavor and BellyBuffers that
Juicy Fruit flavor that babies LOVE!
Talin: A super charged flavor enhancer that is from the Katemfe fruit of Africa that makes our products unique in eliminating that bitter taste. Another reason babies LOVE our products.
None of the TummyCare Max ingredients contain protein, corn or milk products and are 100% safe for FPIES and MSPI babies.
