Relief for Ruby!

My daughter Ruby was a very unhappy baby almost from birth. I would usually describe her to others as "miserable" - which was completely different from my experience with my other two children.
She screamed constantly and I couldn't put her down without immediate crying. She was also extremely gassy and she would only sleep when held. Nursing wasn't comforting to her and she would scream when I tried to feed her, especially right before bedtime. When we finally got her to sleep in her bassinet, she woke up often and I had to nurse her to get her back to sleep.
At her 2 month wellness check, our pediatrician listened to me describe Ruby's behavior and mentioned reflux. I dismissed this idea since she wasn't spitting up and didn't seem to hate being on her back.
Shortly after that appointment, Ruby's feeding behavior began to change. She started to push her morning feeds further and further apart, regularly refusing to eat between 6 am and noon, sometimes even later. She'd arch her back, writhe, and scream at almost every feeding.
It was heartbreaking!
When she refused to eat at all for an entire day (at 2.5 months old!), I knew something was very wrong. Our pediatrician saw her again, diagnosed her with silent reflux, and so I decided to give medication a try. Ruby hated Zantac and it didn't seem to help but even with insurance, a PPI was going to be almost $400/month.
I still wasn't convinced that reflux was our issue and wasn't wiling to pay for more medicine "just to see." By this point we were dealing with a full-blown eating aversion, with Ruby only eating when asleep or almost asleep - which meant she was up every 1-2 hours throughout the night.
I was exhausted and desperate for relief.
While scouring the internet late one night, I found the Infant Acid Reflux Solutions questionnaire and took it "for fun." I was completely shocked to see so many strange behaviors listed as symptoms - and Ruby exhibited almost all of them!
I decided to schedule an appointment and talk to one of their doctors. I had never used a teledoc or an out of state pharmacy before, but I was blown away by how simple, professional, and easy the whole process was.
A few days later I had medicine for my then 3.5-month-old daughter. We had to adjust the dose after the first couple of weeks, but 16 days into our dose adjustment, it was like I had a new baby.
The screaming stopped, and Ruby played on the floor by herself for an hour (even figuring out how to roll onto her tummy, something she previous had hated!) - all in the same day!
I thought maybe it was a fluke day, but no. We were able to tackle her eating aversion shortly after and I now have a sweet little girl who loves to eat, play, and sleep!
Ruby is almost 7 months old now and strangers regularly comment on how quiet and calm she is.
I can't imagine our lives without Infant Acid Reflux Solutions.
Thank you for helping us tackle my daughter's reflux and bring us all relief!
