My baby went from not sleeping and screaming all day to a happy boy who sleeps most of the night!

My son was born 1 week early and planned, however he ended up in the NICU for 1 week. From day one we had issues.
I just thought I had forgotten how awful the newborn stage was... but we kept seeing doctors and found several issues. First we tried different formulas. Then we found out he was tongue tied and took care of that.
Next, he was still screaming all the time like he was in pain. The doctor diagnosed him with reflux and prescribed only 1 ml of zantac, 2 times per day. This seemed to help for an hour or less then he would be right back screaming. They upped it to 2 ml, 2 times per day- still not much improvement. I was up literally 20-22 hours each day, so I started researching.
I knew something was wrong with my baby but didn't feel like anyone wanted to help.
Luckily, I stumbled upon the infant acid reflux facebook page. One post described my baby almost exactly, so I messaged back and forth with that mom. I was nervous, but couldn't sit here anymore and cry while my baby screamed in my arms.
It was so heartbreaking!
I ordered the tc max kit. He was around 2 months old. It took a little bit to kick in, but there was an improvement. I upped his dose a little and that worked!
His happy times seemed to last longer, he slept 3-4 hours at night in one stretch, and when he cried, it wasn't the same pain cry as before. This combined with the right formula for him has been a true life changer. He is still a high maintenance baby, but one that isn't in pain anymore!
I really appreciated all the research available on the infant acid reflux solutions pages. Many doctors will disagree on the higher dosing and say that they can have bone loss, etc. They also like to tell you your baby will grow out of reflux, so as long as they are gaining weight nothing is done.
Do your own research and choose what is best for your baby. TC max helped us SO much and I am so very thankful for that! He is now a very happy and almost 5 month old baby boy.
