I have my SONshine back!

A VERY HAPPY 5 MONTH OLD!
In a world of dismay, I wanted to share my positive experience with the Infant Acid Reflux Solutions (IARS) Facebook group, along with my interactions with the IARS group of doctors and specialists.
My son was diagnosed with Silent Reflux around a month old and for WEEKS, I was at a loss on how to help him. He was on Famotidine at first, which worked for a short while but stopped and we were back at square one. Then, he was put on pharmacy compounded omeprazole that just didn't seem to be doing anything for him other than making his gas and belly issues worse. He was also stepping into the very dangerous territory of feeding aversion, which I had to bring him back from with only the help of the Google-machine and a time limit of 2 weeks, because he would be starting daycare and I'd be back to work.
When I finally bit the bullet and had my telehealth appointment with Dr. Prince, I was shocked and amazed (in the best way) at her courtesy, professionalism, empathy, understanding...I could go on and on. I couldn't believe and how under-medicated my son was. After speaking with her, I also took the leap and purchased TCMax so that I could at-home compound his medication. I figured, this woman is a specialist, so it doesn't hurt to try it right?!
I AM SO GLAD I DID.
My son is now 5 months old and a happy, healthy 14 lbs. He's back to being the smiley, giggly, calm, cool and collected child he was when he was an infant, before all our reflux woes. I haven't needed to administer a single dose of gas drops - when we were putting them in every bottle prior to no avail.
Dr. Prince and Reagan (my account specialist) are amazing. If I have any questions, I send them through a portal and receive a response within 24 hours, as promised. I send questions, concerns and updates and Reagan is always attentive to my requests, down to the most minute detail.
I don't know what I would have done, or where I would be, if it weren't for this amazing group of people. My family and I thank you!
