Best decision we made!

My daughter struggled since she was two weeks old with severe acid reflux. She was miserable and so were we.
We saw two different pediatricians, two different pediatric GIs, a lactation consultant, you name it. We fixed her tongue and lip ties, I cut out dairy and soy from my diet, we followed all the little tips and tricks for reflux babies, but she was still miserable. She also had trouble gaining weight, which was concerning.
We finally made an appointment with Dr. Prince and started her on MarciKids dosing using the pharmacy recommended by Kira.
The difference is amazing!
The pain is gone; now my daughter is a “happy spitter”. She’s gained 4 pounds in the last 10 weeks (more than she gained in the first 14 weeks of her life). She’s teething right now, and we recently had a flare up of the reflux, which reminded us of how bad things were before and how much better she is doing on the new meds and dosing (and we were able to temporarily up her dose to get us through the flare up as well).
I’ve struggled a lot, like most parents I’m sure, with the decision to medicate my daughter and the decision to use MarciKids dosing instead of the standard dosing used by GIs. But I do not regret my decision one bit.
My daughter is a happy, sweet, curious, active baby now!
